- Preparing the Apples: Wash and slice the apples into half-inch or so thick rounds or wedges (more or less). You can leave the skin on (I always do because then your eggs get that extra texture). Nothing to it, just take out the core or seeds when slicing in rounds.
- The Dressing: Also, put the butter with the olive oil in a small bowl. When your butter is in a cold state, warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds. Add paprika, pink salt, and black pepper and stir them until combined. It ought to appear to be gold and slightly spicy- do not panic, it tastes mild and warm.
- Scrub the Apples: On both sides of each slice of apple, apply greedily with a pastry brush, or the back of a spoon, the savory butter-oil dressing. Ensure that all the slices are shining with seasoning.
- Grill Time: Preheat a grill pan (or outdoor grill) on medium heat. Then, when it is hot, lay the apple slice gently. Grill them for around 2 or 3 minutes on both sides.
- Serve Hot : Take the apples out of the pan and put them on the plate. You can eat them plain or complement them with toppings (we are going to discuss that next!).
