I just did not scoop and eat it plain but made it somewhat exciting, a Muskmelon Smoothie that is refreshing and yet, very healthy, weight-loss friendly. Here is the fun part, you know, you do not merely drink it out of a glass. You serve it in the shell of the muskmelon

  • 2 cups ripe muskmelon cubes
  • 1 tbsp pistachios
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats soaked for a few minutes
  • 1 tbsp honey or to taste
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Method
 

Method:
  1. Slice the muskmelon in half and scoop out the seeds. Keep the shell aside for serving.
  2. Dice the flesh into cubes.
  3. In a blender, add muskmelon cubes, nuts, oats, honey, and ice. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the smoothie back into the muskmelon shell.
  5. Garnish with crushed pistachios or a sprinkle of oats.

  2. Vegan? Replace honey with maple syrup or skip it altogether.
